DIAGNOSTIC TESTING

In order to develop a more accurate treatment plan, we utilize numerous diagnostic procedures to determine a patient’s current cardiac condition.  These tests are conducted in our offices or at NorthEast Medical Center and Stanly Memorial Hospital.  Our diagnostic testing may include:

  Complete History and Physical Examination of Cardiac System

  Nuclear Stress Testing

  Treadmill Stress Testing

  Holter Monitoring/King of Hearts Monitoring

  Cardiac Catheterizations

  Electrocardiography

  Echocardiograms, including Stress Echo

CARDIAC TREATMENT

Upon completion of the necessary diagnostic testing, Heart Group of the Carolinas will then work with the patient’s primary care physician to determine the best possible course of treatment.  Often, we can help our patients develop a diet and exercise routine that will prevent potential cardiac problems in the future.  In other instances, we must rely on our years of extensive training and medical technology for the best solution.  Our invasive and noninvasive procedures for the treatment of cardiac conditions may include:
